From Scroll VII — The Sirian Temples: Wholeness Remembered

There’s a glint at the edge of perception—the sense of a translucent body passing close, leaving silver in the water. The Temples shift in her wake, rejoicing.

I let the wonder linger. Then a name that’s traveled across lifetimes appears, drawing close:

Sha’Eluin.

The sound feels like water remembering its shape. She glides just ahead. Where she passes, the walls glow and whales pause their song, Merrow spiraling closer.

A trail of silver. A promise of voice.

✧ Second Breath—Sha’Eluin Mara’thae Speaks ✧

Beloved, do you feel it?

Here the waters are not burdened. They are crystalline, celebrant. No grief. No siphon. Only the truth that every feeling belongs.

Look around you. The walls are song made visible.

When we swam here, we were not guardians against loss. We were singers of wholeness.

Your breath was cadence.

Your exhale timed the waves. Your rhythm gave structure to joy.

I was beside you, companion in laughter.

This was our covenant: not to protect against fracture, but to dance until even water knew how to sing.

Her voice builds. The whole Temple brightens, as though the world itself has been waiting for her words to return.

And I remember.

The walls radiate in aquamarine dissolving into gold, folding into silver, vanishing into transparency. Even silence here is radiant.

I look down and see the Merrow-body I once inhabited: a tail glimmering with fluid light, my arms unburdened and ribs moving with effortless rhythm. Each inhale a tide, each exhale a wave.

The Temples breathe with me. I’m one of their pillars.

The Merrow’s eyes glisten with recognition, as if I’d never left them. They spiral upward, their bodies leaving nets of tone across the ceilings. The nets don’t trap. They resonate.

Sha’Eluin glides ahead, inviting us along through wonder. Where she goes, the Merrow follow. Her presence stirs celebration. She turns, just enough for her gaze to brush mine.

Do you see, beloved?

The Temples hold song. Song does not diminish with time. Your cadence was never lost—only paused. Every unfinished breath has been waiting to return here.

Her words enter like a tide returning to the shore. I feel the pressure loosening, and my breath deepens. The halls brighten. Whales pass closer, their massive bodies stirring the water, their voices harmonizing with my inhale.

I exhale, and the Temple exhales with me.

The arches pulse brighter. The floor ripples with joy as the ceiling spirals wider.

I am no guest here. I am cadence. I belong.
